Today’s commentary:
Baker in the pressers doesn’t seem like a smart or dynamic guy. He has the look and personality of a second level coach’s assistant— not a DC for a legendary program.
But his product on the field using many of the high quality pieces from last year’s Top 3 Defense + additional high quality transfers tells me he’s a total failure as DC.
Manny stepping back into Involvement on D further tells me Baker is a failure and has lost the HC’s confidence and therefore needs to be replaced ASAP.
Enos has a division 2-A O line and a new offensive system to install so I will still give him another year before judging his competency.
Baker is Unqualified.
Manny is a proven winning DC and will need to manage D And HC this year until he find the right hire.
