True clash of titans

-in one corner we have a low ranked Carol City boy that even Sean Spence reached out to, that UM offered before any of the big boys, who commits for what 6-7 months? Always take a chance from that high school, but there are some holes in his game as a pure cover corner, but UM loyal to him. And leaves UM a week before singing day. Kid was actually considering UCF...Mind-boggling.

- and in the other we have a kid who just wouldn't leave UM alone...Cried and cried and cried all last winter and early spring. So UM offers, commits to his 2nd school after the UM offer (or was it 3rd? Can't remember if he was a Noles too, I know it was UF at one point), so done deal right...No this November HE REACHES OUT TO DUGANS, and goes out of his way to schedule a visit to UM (UM loses Richards, but more importantly Jeff thomas and there are other rumored unhappy WR, so need WR a little more than we thought in spring). UM rolls out the red carpet for him and his teammates, AND???? Nah... I think I'll stay at penn state. Thanks though...Hey John boy, why don't you just leave UM the ***** alone?

Honorable mention: Maurice Smith

I agree.
Dunmore finally stayed loyal...dumb move to reach out for attention just to not come but whatever.

Brownlee was a middle finger.

Brownlee I feel is your classic case if coaches could talk about recruiting they would say “if he’s looking we’re looking”

Really wish coaches could speak their mind on these kids and set some of the records straight including when we actually drop kids instead of getting another dreaded respect my decision decommit

Dunmore family is pretty solid, especially mom. I think the Canes wanted to make Dunmore wait until Feb to sign. UM wanted to see if Hasselwood would indeed sign. We are only taking 2 WR's... Pedo State probably gave him the ultimatum (they would look for another wr) as well if he did not sign with them...

Did Dunmore hear or see what Jadon was doing to UM to get a heavier bag? Was he just getting the best deal he could? I mean, from his perspective, it's the art of the deal (as some would say). Isn't it on the 30 year veteran coaches to know the difference between a kid who is making bags heavier and a kid who really wants to play for you? No one expects coaches to be 100% correct on this, but you have to be able to out-maneuver a 17-18 year old kid and his street handler or parents.
