This game had so many of the bad breaks, mistakes and frustration of Louisville and SMU, except this time unlike many other times in the past, they buckled down, trusted each other, and proved they belonged. I cannot express enough how incredibly excited I am right now...My first Canes game was in 1978. I grew up thinking the Canes would win the National Championship every year. This time, for the first time in over 20 years I can say...THE U IS BACK!!!!!

I knew we were going to pull it out but hated myself for thinking it most of the game. I legit broke down tearing toward end of the 3rd quarter, the same sinking feeling in 03 but somehow, someway it was different.

Had to drive to Atlanta to get on flight to Chicago to then get on flight to Phoenix…. It was 1000000% worth it! Voice gone, but my spirit is high!
I flew from Tampa to Minneapolis to Phoenix...flying Phoenix to Detroit to Tampa today...Im currently wide awake at 6am...IDGAF!! CANES PLAYING FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP BABY!!!!!!!
