We are counting down the days here on CanesInSight until Miami kicks off the 2026-27 season at Stanford. Betting sites are starting to put the odds out for each conference.

According to BetMGM, the Miami Hurricanes are the clear-cut favorite to win the ACC. The betting site placed the Hurricanes as the No. 1 team to win the conference (-135). Sitting second in the odds behind the Hurricanes is SMU (+700).

The site also released the win totals for the ACC, as Miami is projected to win -10.5 games, which ranks as the No. 1 ACC squad. That would set up a projected ACC Championship matchup between Miami and SMU.

Other bettings sites also have the Hurricanes winning 10+ games this season, and being the winner of the conference.

Every single year, the Hurricanes always seem to slip up in one ACC game, but could this be the year they can finally get back into the ACC Championship game for the first time since 2017? We shall see, the path is there, and ACC betting odds think so too.

FSU is a Dead program.

Their Offense is going to horrendous & their Secondary was put together with scotch tape.

They have objectively one of the bottom 3 worst rosters in the ACC.

They'll be lucky to win 5 games this year.

Stanford, Wake, and BC might be a bit better. That FSU # is.. generous.

FSU’s schedule has some layups. I know, I know. 2-10. Now, you wouldn’t catch me dead actually playing the over. I think they’re more likely to win 5 than 7, for sure.

But they play New Mexico State and Central Arkansas. I have to give them those. So can they win 4 more? At Miami, at Alabama are losses. But I think they can get UVA. They can get BC. They can get NC State. You got Florida home. You got Clemson home. You got SMU home. You got Louisville up there. Again, I’m not betting this. But on paper, it’s a good line. I’ll bet they’re getting some decent action both ways.
