Best HC In ACC?

I for one am not impressed with jimbo fisher

I have this risky idea that if you put tom herman as the HC at FSU, we would have lost every game that golden was here to him by at least 30

Do not forget that this gameday headcoach you speak of, with a superior roster, got absolutely... annihilated by oregon, losing by.. 40?

That was with a top overall draft pick as your QB, cook, ramsey.. etc.

And people lauding his recruiting skills.. the man is at FSU, how do you NOT recruit well there? You can get away with gawd **** murder there and everyone knows it.

FSU is like the bama of the ACC in that manner, it's a dirty @ss ***ing school and I hate the noles and their fanbase.

The thing that sticks out to me is what a person does with less.. if you're stacked, it's harder to say just how good you yourself are. As has been pointed out, cutcliff is killing it in that regard

Jimbo is a bumb coach hes a recruiter this is what im saying. Dude is an elite recruiter

FSU had like 10 turnovers against Houston/Oregon. I don't see how that falls on Coach fisher play calling. You don't win many games with +4 turnover margins. Plus a QB playing on a broken ankle.

Houston had more players drafted than FSU last year too. People think they aren't talented, but a lot of the Texas schools have benefited from Mack Brown destroying the Texas Longhorns.

Dabo might be an better recruiter, but he was a WR coach before getting the HC job, he has surrounded himself with an elite staff. More of a CEO style coach.

Do you remember FSU barely winning so many games that year? I think it was like what 7 of them? NC state was ***ing annihilating them if I remember correctly, **** moron himself had them down badly I mean I honestly was thinking they might even get blown out.. but lo and behold there's not a killer instinct in fat al's ***ing body, let them back in it.. he did

You make some good points about the houston game. That still doesn't excuse it being the way it was. Recruiting right now is basically FSU and bama and then everyone else for what? The last 4 or 5 years? FSU should have been able to stomp them with talent alone in that regard.

Last year alone with this talented as it gets on a year to year basis roster:

vs wake forest won 24-16
vs al golden won 29-24
lost to Gatech 22-16
lost 38-24 to houston

...call me crazy but wouldn't bobby bowden and the mark richt led noles of the mid 90s be destroying these teams?

Jimbo is butch light but hes mainly a recruiter this proves all of that. They should of stomped houston based on roster

Excellent point. Hard to argue with what Cutty has accomplished (minus the incessant whining over the return) given the circumstances. Maybe insiders have different perspective since a major, more unconstrained, program hasnt enticed him away?

Jimbo is a good coach that actually coach and has won alot of games cfb is all about recruiting and even the best coach in cfb nick saban lost to utah or something so for my money jimbo is the best coach in the acc...
