Bentavious Thompson to reclassify?

I think he needs to change his Jersey # to a low digit # and wear a tinted facemask. That should do the trick.!

He's the type of kid you need to see live. Trust me. He's good.

Not elite, but he's good. Not many rbs are elite to begin with. His top end speed is what holds him from that.

His only knock is he doesn't have great top end speed. He runs in the mid 4.6 BUT, he possess something this backfield does not have. He's a bruiser at RB. He wears down the defense. You put him in and he's running over guys and chipping away at the defense play by play. He moves the chains and gets it done in the redzone and the occasional long run.

Bentavious although might be old for his class at 18. Dominated at the 8A level against some of the best defenses racking in 1100 and 14 TDs while sharing some time with Jaquan in that backfield too.

Look I get everyone likes speed and he's not the fastest guy, but in college you need backs like him in your backfield. He's a good 6'0"-6'1" 195-200 right now.

Strong runner. Doesn't stop moving his legs. Moves the pile. Great in the redzone, moves the chains, gets consistent yards and great between the tackles. Great blocker, good hands out the backfield. Decent speed, not great but he can move.

We need him, Moss is a FB/HB IMO. We don't have a back like Bentavious.

Many RBs like him in college who dominate. You're getting too caught up in speed and flashiness my friends. You need tough gritty running backs too. 4* quality.

If he does reclassify. Moss IMO would get pushed out, even though he's already looking around. Rasul is still shaky too. Possibly a good season from us and him possibly being at Columbus could help maybe.

We are in good position for CFA and we have Homer as well.

Moss is weakest link if you're looking at pure RB.

I don't think Homer going anywhere. Got a brother at FAU and a brother at PBSC and his mom loves Miami and Homer loves Miami too. They all want him to stay close too. I know more schools gonna come after him hard but i doubt he bolts.

Jassid, FSU did offer Rasul. I've heard rumblings if it does happen that he decommits. It would be this summer if it did happen. I like Rasul, I just want to see him take the next step from an ATH with elite speed to a more complete back, he has a high ceiling.

Rasul is all ceiling...Interesting having so many "high-ceiling" players from columbus...haven't had one since Pat Lee or maybe Antoine Lowrey. Speaking of Columbus, Bandy is at the FSU camp with some other down south kids, including Wiggins from Killian. Going to suck to see him get offered by them, first.

It's not the speed geo if that was the case we'd be yelling about walton yearby and Gus cause they don't have the top end speed like rasul...

He's just an average RB @ 18 yrs old..... when compared to the class he was supposed to be in. You wouldn't even think of him in the class of 15'.

This year some better RB's will hit our radar that will make us forget about him or drop him down the board even more.... see how fils aime burnett killins moss just popped up out of no where after the 15 signings. It's going to happen again. I'd rather take a younger fresh RB than an older treading RB. Class of 16 bound to have some sleeper RBs and Class of 17 is loaded.

Barton Simmons:
4. Bentavious Thompson, RB, Miami (Fla.) Killiam (Class of 2017) – Thompson is a big, physical running back that has already committed to Miami but he was outstanding as a pass-catcher on Friday at LSU. There may not have been a running back that was able to do more outside of the backfield, be it on flat routes, vertical downfield routes or balls in traffic over the middle. Thompson is the cousin of LSU freshman John Battle.

Battle- another local standout we ignored.

Bentavious is the same age as Walton, think their 3 days apart! So, i dont see why folks are stressin he's too old. He wasnt as old as Benjamen or Ridley. Kid is the goods and runs hard! He isnt scared to go between the tackles and mash it up, but he has good vision and a strong initial burst, too! So Walton was a good if not great pick up in the '15 class and Bentavious is an over the hill back for the '16 class, yet their the same age...got it!
