That's right! I wished these coaches and alumni would stop chastising the fan base and prospects. Just win and prove something to us. What happened to actually earning our keeps... Earn the trust of the community by winning and the players will come...

Golden is the most poisonous figure to ever step foot at UM. He is more poisonous than Shapiro. How he has managed to turn former players against other former players and the fanbase is just disgusting.
 
The Blades are a Cane royal family and earned right to speak. BUT Bennie and other former greats should understand that while The U was do so much for them and helping them obtain the lives they are so grateful for, fans/alums/donors/boosters like me and others were PAYING for it. The U was a conduit for OUR money. Money that could have been spent on bigger houses, more expensive cars, longer vacations, our kids and parents. They all need to understand they were not the ONLY thing that made The U THE U.

I love Bennie and appreciate every hit I watched him deliver, but during that time I was writing very large checks for his benefit. He also needs to understand that we honor him and the others by our insistence that we return to greatness. He also should understand that other kids are being denied what he received due to the neglect of the administration and the incompetence of its Temple coaching staff. We must stand united and demand what we earned, worked and paid for. Donna's evil work must be undone and The U returned to its place.

Wife and kids tell me that a lot. Been trying to for years. Solid advise, but kind of a waste of time around a bunch of Canes. Lot easier for gators and noles -- so much less to get over. Anyway, have a great St Pat's. I'll be in a casino next week, throwing any some more of last year's donation I did not send to CG.

It's putrid to see a legend like Bennie Blades having to lie to the fans and make a fool of himself in order to make a few bucks. He reminds me of Leon Spinks on Jeopardy.
