morris is a big part of what is wrong. I am tired of the ankle excuse. he sucked against Florida Atlantic and Florida. He didnt play well against top teams last year and couldnt beat out Jacory as a soph. The kid isnt that bright. always makes bad decisions, plays very clumsy. The defense was great early on but this goof cant keep them off the field. it's 3 and out or a quick strike. I am no body language expert but i can see the defense is just tired of this crap. they cant get a breather. What cant ryan williams do that morris can beside chuck a deep ball which most of the time is not a good lead anyway? I guarantee benching morris will boost morale.

aj, ty, etc need to sit. i rather let jamal carter and grace play. I rather kirby be out their than gaines racking up no stats. this team's talent is in 2012 and 2013 recruits. cant wait till these losers are gone. these 2012 and 2013 kids are a different kind of athlete. they are playmakers.

no i am just not obsessed with coach d.

naw you are clueless.... ur not "obsessed" w/ coach D b/c his **** is n ur mouth so you'd rather blame the players for everything like he does. pathetic.

Stephen Morris didnt throw an interception, and despite the constant drops still put up 329 yards of offense and 2 TDs. He did his job under the circumstances, Dorito is the only one that deserves blame and only the few dug in Dorito supporters like you are too *** to admit it.

Ive been on record saying that the season hinged on the FSU and Va Tech games. IF we drop both games, THEN it would time for a change at QB, even if only for a game.

We're now at that point. It's time to sit Stephen Morris for the Dook game. If Williams cant show improvement @ Dook, then I'd have no problem going back to Morris. But again, at this point, we need to shift from maximizing this season to managing the longer term aspects of the program. WIlliams will enter the spring as the #1 QB. He should get a quality start this season at this point.

I'm with u Morris has a country club attitude.

you can't bench Morris after that performance.. would send a terrible message to the rest of the team.. al needs to bench that defensive scheme which he is unwilling to alter/ adapt to the opponent..

lol if Dghustla, Consigliere, NY, or ilovelamp agrees with you, 9.5/10 times it's wrong.

Unfortunately golden has went all in with morris and dorito, And lost big. I really believe Morris has held this offense hostage at times. I think Ryans williams see the field a lot than morris. Morris is a one trick pony. As for dorito...there is no saving him.

Pat Narduzzi(maybe if I keep saying it it will come true lol)

Yeap. Let's find out if Williams has anything for us next year. Morris is from my HS, but I want to see what Williams can do before next year. If he sucks, then focus on Olsen and Kaaya for next year and stop worrying about Williams now. We make a bowl game and you want to reward Morris, fine let him start it, but in the meantime, let's see what we have for next year. This one is done. We won the coastal last year. We sure as **** aren't beating FSU with the team that was on the field last night. I want a NC next year more than playing in the ACCCG this year.

Whether you agree with it or not, our SRs are for the most part the leaders of this team. Benching them and playing for next year is a great way to sabotage yourself, doesn't exactly send a good message to the future leaders/captains. I cannot believe we have guys agreeing with this notion.

Sounds better on paper than in reality. Cannot sit the seniors to play for next year. Message to the team may be very unsettling.

We can still win 12 games this year. Plenty left to play for. Don't pack it in yet, play as hard as you can and work on what there is to work on. 7-2 is pretty realistic for what i expected before the year, and since we coasted after UF, we got bigger expectations.

We're not that good but I don't think we're that bad, and if we can squeek out a few more without Duke, the record is an improvement over last year and we can sell our recruits on growth. We aren't there yet but I'm still very very optimistic on the future of the program under the current regime. Discouraged with the Defense and the lack of improvement but theres a big part of me that still thinks we dont have the horses just yet.

It's scary because none of these backups are even playing. We're going to be counting on these guys next year and they'll have had very little experience.

Morris really did not play poorly last night. He had no INTs, made some good throws, and his receivers dropped a few passes, particularly Waters.

The problem was that we could not run the ball. But, like many of here have called for, Coley committed to the run, which flat-out did not work. Thus, we were always in 3d and at least 6 or 7 yards, which we could not convert.

Then you add in our turnovers, special team gaffes, and our defense's inability to get off the field, and it was party over.

I said going into the game that the team that lost the turnover and special teams battles would lose. And that's precisely what we did.

But I was hopeful that our defense would stack the box and force Thomas to beat us. Unfortunately, we could not stop the run, and then we exacerbated that failure by allowing receivers to run free on crossing routes. So yet another mediocre QB looked like a stud.

It was a woeful performance all the way around. But again, you can't hang this loss on Morris.
