We had a stint mid season where we sucked. I recall us moving men the last stretch of the season. We also changed alignment which helped the rbs when we went to Pringle. Early on the vision of the rbs was not good. Without going back and checking actual stats we were humming last third of year and into the playoffs.

Yea I acknowledge we had good success in playoffs and pringle did add an element to our rungame and maybe even jumpstart a stale run game he gets very little love for it seems lol..

I hope we vary our run game more, the numbers would be much better than just thinking you can overpower everyone just because you are bigger and run straight up middle duo, I think that hubris cost us at times and it reared its head going into championship week with tweets of size of players, tweeting the DC to meet in A gap and game time comes edges our open but we run straight into stonewall

100%. Teams stacking the box, stubbornness/lack of diversification in play calling, and distrust in beck all played a role in why the numbers weren’t strong. I def was one of those talking ALOT about it..

The losses forced a slight shift in tendencies which helped with the run game during the playoff drive.

All that said, this year is going to be a bit more wide open. I don’t think the team will have the struggles they had last year running the ball. Just hope they adjust faster when things aren’t working.
