Been out of town and had few opps to get to a good signal. But wanted to put this out there. I think Beamer was completely bush in going for 2 on their garbage time TD and even more bush going for the onside kick. Embarrassing to say the least. Would not be surprised to see Beamer pulling the plug after this season.

I know he has been there forever, but I wonder if he is a little on the hot seat. They were terrible last year and are terrible this year, I wonder if the talk will start like with Paterno and Bowden that the game has passed him by.
 
How dare he take the opportunity to practice something that might help his team down the road, in an actual game. Especially one that was decided so it didn't make a difference either way. The nerve of this guy. Did you see when Beamer was down 30 points and he was still trying to score? Totally classless.

I dislike Flubberneck and VT, but this is retarded.


Dude had a bunch of backups in the game and was using the game situation to give his young guys reps. I wish we had a coach that would do that, rather than trying to conservatively sit on the slightest lead.


Giving your young guys reps > playing your superstar player late into a game that you should be winning by 5 TD's, if you didn't constantly coach so **** shook.

Dude was just trying to let his guys get some reps in. Might come in handy next time they play Buffalo or U of M(aine)
 
Al Gorlden would have taken a knee instead of attempting any type of PAT in that situation.

If you check out techsideline.com, Beamer is definitely under the scope. His criticism is that he's too rigid to change up his offense. I will admit, their OCs have sucked lately.
 
I can picture this dude busting at the seams waiting 5 days to get on here just to drop this gem about Flubberneck being a heel for trying to score points in a football game. He couldn't wait to hit that reload button to see everyone propping him up for crystallizing their own thoughts so eloquently. LULZ. Poor dude.

Exactly.

The game is 60 minutes long. You are allowed to play till the final whistle.

In fact, our O played like Fresh Sweltering Hog Sh*t in the second half. We only scored 6 points. Complain about that.....

Meyer was up 20 points. Beamer was losing. You have to be some kind of ignorant to get mad at a coach for trying to score points when his team is losing.
 
If you don't want Flubberneck going for two after a TD, then keep him out of the endzone!

GTFOOH with that soft-shouldered trash.
