Josh makes very valid points. Another few points: Getting Thomas removes a major distraction right before the start of Summer session 2, all 6 newcomers (Murphy included) are now on campus and acclimating. Manderson likely wouldn't have been through the clearinghouse in time for him to have started practicing with the rest. This is more important than you may think because in a few weeks we travel to Spain for our exhibition play there.

Another point is there are several 2015 bigs we are in the mix for, the highest priority being John Colllins out of WPB HS, the kid's game has progressed very nicely and he's picking up several high major offers. Wouldn't be surprised to see us sign the kid even without a scholarship open as in today's age of transferring and kids going pro early you have to plan ahead for attrition vs. react to it after the fact.

We added a walk-on named Chris Stowell to the roster. He's listed at 6'7", 190, so he's a welcome change from our usual 6'1", 160 pound guards. Not much on him but he played at Tilton School in New Hampshire, which is a pretty strong prep program out there that turns out a number of D-I prospects. Based on what I can find, he's a "high-academic" kid so he may have had D-II or D-III type offers and decided to come to us because he had academic scholarships.
