Based on what we (you) know, what do you expect Saturday?

1. Cam Ward light it up with deep passes?
2. Dominate OL and we rush for 200 yards keeping Mertz off the field?
3. Ball control offense mix of short passes and running the ball?
4. Dominate defense 4 sacks and 6 TFL frustrating Mertz?
5. Special teams block a punt, runs a punt back for a TD and recovers a gator fumble?

I'll be shocked but thrilled if number 5 since our ST coach is inexperienced! Also if we can take total control running the ball I prefer number 2, With our RB depth and OL talent I prefer control over too many passes. Talentwise I expect we can take control BUT the gators have won 33 consecutive home openers since 1990, key word being HOME so it is time for us to break that streak. I wish I had more faith in our coaches.

Hopefully a combination of 3 and 4. We don't need to get "cute" on offense, especially not on the road in that environment. Just execute. Stay disciplined on defense and please tackle.

Mhm, yup, sure, uh huh, atta boy.

What is your opinion on these fancy new speakers in the players helmet for the coaches to communicate with them? It's one-way coach to player and not two-way communication.
 
Not expecting a dominant OL since Lee and Cohen aren't back, but do expect Bain, Baron, Mesidor to kill Mertz until he dies from it.
 
I'd love to see a few 6+ minute scoring drives just rushing it straight through the gator's DLine and nothing they can do to stop it.

Mario is going to run Martinez until they show they can stop it. Very confident in that. He’s going to want that OL to show their power. Hopefully they work in some play action with Cam early to keep those safeties up

Expect a physical football game with two teams that have experienced signal callers and a lot to prove.

I believe our guys will be prepared to play and ready for the smoke ;); I love the competitive culture Mario has built of, "let's go find out".

I expect we will look and play more like Miami Hurricanes.
 
Napier is going to try and surprise us with some deep passes early in the first half. Guarantee it. UF doesn’t respect our secondary.

typically we're all delusional on here but this is truly the year, we have the team, we have the coaches, etc.

no turnover problems on Saturday and we win by more than a td
 
Stupid penalties, & time management will make it close.
You're only as good as yer last game, until we prove otherwise..

They are undefeated in 33 consecutive home openers? We got to put an end to that.
