Honestly when I hear Sources saying rosier is making the fewest mental mistakes I’m not gleaning much from it because first of all he’s more experienced so that comes with that and secondly we have seen him make PLENTY of dumb decisions in every game so...... lol

"Hall isn’t a factor because of a wrist injury that will sideline him for the remainder of spring practice. "

Thought it was a knee, I think Barry got him confused with McCloud

Keep reaching...the young guys aren't getting it done to this point, just accept it.

In the same article it said Perry had a very good practice on Tuesday and rosier was the best on Thursday. No one is reaching anything,

Hate to bltch, but this is just a rehash of what we already have heard. Other than Hall’s “injured wrist”, which is incorrect of course, the general consensus, which Thomas Brown implied in his interview, is that Rosier is ahead, but not by much. That should be expected since he started every game last year.

A senior starter with a full year of starting experience, should be ahead mentally of two redshirt freshmans, and one true freshmans when it’s 2 1/2 weeks into spring practice, shouldn’t he? Think about it. I mean, it only makes sense.

The freshmen have April, May, June, July, and August to try to catch up and surpass Rosier mentally and physically, if they put in the work and have the mental capacity, the skills, and most importantly the will, to do it.

That’s what competition is.

I was just joking, it's all speculation at this point and I'd be surprised if we knew anything until fall practice starts.

I also viewed his accuracy as more of a concern than his decision making.

On the dline when you list the names we lost it definitely seems like we lost a lot but surprisingly we return quite a bit of production

Now, Diaz is tasked with replacing a bulk of the talent that helped get his defense to where it is today.

Four of their top six defensive linemen — ends Chad Thomas and Trent Harris, along with tackles Kendrick Norton and RJ McIntosh — are prepping for the NFL draft. That quartet accounted for 42 of Miami’s 111 tackles for loss (37.8 percent) and 18.5 of their 44 sacks (42 percent

I love the Jess Simpson hire just as much as anybody. ****, I think I even started two separate threads on Jess when he was hired, because I am just that excited about him. With that being said, I can't put any weight into Diaz said about Simpson. He was asked a question about Jess. It's not like he was going to respond with, "Good question. Now that you've mentioned it, his country *** needs to step his game up."

Everything that we here from the coaches and players about Simpson will be shed in a positive light. I have no doubt that he is doing a great job and will continue to do so. However, we will find out in due time how good the d-line is, as well as how good Jess is as a recruiter.

I agree with you. CMR and Brown keep saying the young guys are not far behind. I hope N'Kosi "shows out" during the Spring Game. Whomever is to unseed Rosier, has to show that they are a much better QB. Even though I think N'Kosi has the most upside, CMR isn't going to replace Rosier if they are even. Rosier would get the nod if the competition is even because of his game experience.

I don't see Rosier starting every game this year. CMR even hinted in one of his practice interviews that Perry and Weldon wouldn't be redshirting again (obviously they can't). Reading between the lines, CMR was saying that Rosier will have a short leash. If Rosier shows the inconsistency that he did last year, he will be on the bench. Needless to say, I think that happens. It could happen in the LSU game. If Rosier is struggling vs LSU, I think CMR gives Perry and/or Weldon a shot. I could see Rosier struggling in the 1st half and then CMR saying, "N'Kosi, your starting the 2nd half." If that happened and N'Kosi played well, Rosier would find himself on the bench for maybe the rest of the season.

I can’t really predict in detail what will happen in the LSU game, but as far as the spring game, I wouldn’t be putting that much emphasis on it for any of the quarterbacks, because in the long run I don’t think it’s going to make that much of a difference.

Remember there are going to be at least 5-6 more scrimmages, if not more. There’s still many more spring and summer/fall practices and scrimmages to go.

People just generally tend to freak out over one spring scrimmage, and it makes zero sense. Don’t fall into the trap. The first spring scrimmage is just to get the cobwebs out.

I’m sticking with my opinion that Barry adds a total of zero original content in his reporting on the Canes. He sees the same video interviews we do and relies on the eyes of others to make comments on the players. Don’t think he attends practices.

It’s getting tiresome.

He did also mention though that the players have been raving about him also. Which is positive. That statement would not have been included in his standard positive answer if it wasn't true. With the DL, keep em happy and keep em hungry and guys will want to play here.
