Been seeing rumblings about him getting beat and how he overreacted for a tackle that was a first down or best one he’s not really a dawg. He’s only a true sophomore and kid is by far one of our players who was born to be a cane. From committing after being slow played to rocking ST jersey to practicing on greentree before fall camp even started. He bleeds green and orange, this season is over so looking to the future I guarantee he’ll have a JJ type junior year. He’s so overlooked and underrated this deserved it’s own thread.

He is a dawg and a real football player. I'd take a team full of Bandy's all day long.

Anyone complaining should look at that play again. Jaquan got caught looking in at the QB. That play was on him.

I like his emotion! But JJ had a bad game at GT, JJ getting caught looking in the backfield left Bandy all alone on the TD pass! We are having a ****** year and because of that everything is getting magnified!

Bandy is all Cane when it comes to heart and toughness. But it doesn't mean he has the tools to be a great player.

He's a 5'8" corner that doesn't have great speed. On top of that, he has long legs for a short guy, which hurts his transitional quickness.

He has a thick, powerful body and is generally good in run support. But his lack of physical tools and coverage instincts cause him to look lost at times in the throw game.

Having said all that, Rumph does nothing to help his game.

Guys like Bandy, Corn, Quan are about as close to old school canes as we have. All those negs people said about guys like Rohan, **** even Ed Reed, Morgan, Reggie Wayne etc. Heart matters man, on the football field, out of all sports, having that and a strong passion for the game goes a long ways. Obviously have to have some talent but we have seen ad nauseam what happens to guys with talent and no heart.

I will say this, that's the worst game i ever seen jaquan play, he kept mis-judging that qb's speed trying to come up and make tackles. Our linebackers werent getting to the ball enuff. The more athletic we get at linebacker the better off we'll be. We should have alot of seniors on the team come next year, particularly on defense.

He got beat, it happens. His good plays far outweigh his bad ones. He should be the absolute least of our worries. He is one of the best we have.

His worst in 2 years for sure, I would guess he would say the same.

He didn’t get beaten! JJ was not there where Bandy expected him to be and should have been because he got caught looking in.

So one of our best players and natural born Canes' talent is questioned by the fans lol. I think we've been down this road before. And it usually doesn't age well.
