If they lost today, they would be ineligible for the playoff and i doubt Kirby Smart would stay on for a meaningless bowl game. But, since they are clearly winning, he will now definitely stay in Bama till the playoff has finished and will not be able to fully commit himself to protecting Georgia's incoming class. This should set up a great opportunity for Richt to go after Georgia's recruits that he has already vetted.. would love some of those OL and DL

Never thought of it that way, but if Bama had lost there would likely be no SEC teams in the playoffs. That would have been great. On a side note, Florida's kicker is awful

Alabama lost at home. No big deal. They get away with that more than the rest of the nation combined, in terms of how often they are excused and allowed to play for the title. It's been going on for decades and under Saban the trend has exploded.

Harris is the kid that filmed the vine laughing at the letter from the U, right?

Cos he was salty we'd offered him late as a DB rather than a QB.

And ESPN was begging for Ohio State this morning as well. As if losing on your home turf doesn't mean anything anymore.

Watch a few minutes. Whatever else, we are going to need a huge improvement on oline if we want to keep our QB alive against defenses like that.

Could you post a link? I want to see that. Thanks.
