What can we expect with him taking over LBs? I thought Manny would give those duties to Patke, but I was wrong.

Has Baker worked with LBs before?

If so, what’s his track record there?

I believe there is a lot of room for improvement. The talent and experience is there with Shaq, Mike, and McCloud, so I’m curious to see what happens.

He's essentially taking Manny's position last year as DC and inside LB coach. He was a DB coach with Manny at LTU before becoming their DC.

Patke will continue to coach outside linebackers and apparently now, special teams.

Patke still has OLB (and strikers)...Baker ILB

I think with Diaz, Baker, Patke fingerprint on LB play we will be fine.

Ya, I knew Patke was continuing his role with OLB. I think he did a great job last year with Romeo, so I would have been okay with him taking over the entire LB room.

I hope Baker can juggle both roles effectively.
