It is clear that English is not a prerequisite in that program. Like wouldn’t you clean it up for him before you sent it back to him for final approval? I would have imagined that would be a complementary service for someone who trusted you to make that.

Agree. How does a kid that has been in this university for 4 years not have proper grammar for his portal message? This is an indictment on the program monitoring its student athletes. If we were winning championships or getting kids in the league by the droves, you can let this slide. But we have neither and this is underwhelming. Just sad. Hope the kid gets PT elsewhere along with a proper English class.

I didn’t realize we had so many English teachers on this site.

I just wish the guy good luck and good hunting in finding the right fit as far as school goes, and leave it at that.

I just think he got a raw deal in terms of the right type of coach (Manny Diaz) to develop a raw prospect as a linebacker, but whatever happens, I wish him a long and healthy life.
