Does anyone meet to watch the games in town? The alumni event is up in Peachtree Corners, which is just silly for folks living either ITP or on the west or southern parts of the burbs.

I’ve seen some stuff on Facebook occasionally. I don’t think it’s well planned. I’m in the Newnan/PTC area and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything around here. Not sure where you are.

Where is that?

I agree we need a place ITP
they need multiple locations in most ciites but in reality, its on the alumni in the area that are on the committee to do so. the best thing you can do is sign up and get involved in the planning. part of it is which spots allow them to basically take the entire place over. an alumni owned spot is easier.

Sorry that was for the old heads, we used to meet there back in the mid 90s or so. Melvin Bratton would make appearances and Crash Clark, tv traffic guy, was typically there.

Can't agree more. If you're ITP, the former Maizy's spot/whatever it's called now is almost an hour away. There used to be a place in Midtown that the alumni association used for a year, but then they went back to PC.

I don’t live there anymore, but pigeon stools was a spot in midtown back in the day. It’s long since closed down and turned over to taco Mac

Been to the Maizy's spot a couple times. Like others said just too far. I'll probably end up watching game at McCray's Tavern in West Village.
