If you are too cheap to pay the goddam buyout, then ask the fans to chip in.
This school CANNOT claim to have an issue with paying a buyout if it doesn't even ask the biggest supporters---the fans---for help.
Did you ever get an email after Coker or Randy saying "hey please chip in to get Miami a new coach"? I didn't. But if I had, I would have chipped in.
If every Cane fan who buys season tickets (over 35k) gave just 100 dollars to a buyout collection pot, the school would have raised 3.5 million dollars without having to shift funds or beg boosters. And that's just the season ticket holders.
I asked this in the game thread: Would you give 100 dollars tonight if it meant Golden would be fired???
So I don't want to hear **** about a mothafuggin buyout.
