Put pressure on the admin to make change, it's more productive than just complaining on a message board.

Unless you're donating six- or seven-figures to this program annually, this is going to fall on deaf ears.

Not trying to s**t in your soup here, but this was the same as UM telling people to call their cable companies to "demand" the ACC Network.

If you wound up with the ACC Network as part of your cable package this year—it had zero to do with any complaining and everything to do with money; and cable providers finally ironing out a deal with the network.

Same for the University of Miami; it's all about money. A few season ticket cancellations here and there isn't going to change anything.

The day a Carol Soffer or the Schwartz family expresses that they're going to pull millions of dollars in donations—THEN you will see change. Especially considering the fact UM doesn't have a slew of big money people donating to this program.

Emaling the BoT secretary—or hammering a UM president that is hands-off with athletics ... it's a drop of water in the ocean, but if that's the route people want to go—have at it. The past 15 years of UM football have been a disaster and that 13-15 run since the 10-0 start in 2017 is downright pathetic ... but a few emails, phone calls or even a billboard isn't going to do squat.

Really the best post as to why nothing is going to change. You people are donating $20, cool. The athletic department considers this movement a laughing stock. James is going to keep his job, unless some serious damage is done by Golden's lawsuit.

People will continue to ***** and moan. Because that is what Canes fans do best.
 
At a school with an endowment like Miami has, I literally cannot even imagine the decibels that the laughter reaches inside the school when people do things like this. They must be literally cackling. Howling, if you may.

Donate 6 figures. Then you *might* get someone to listen to you while they're simultaneously scrolling on their phone. But talk fast, you've got about 3 minutes.

While I applaud your effort, the chances of Blake getting fired are slim to none, and you know how that ends. The target should be Strawley, who is actually the COO and in charge of football operations. If she was fired and replaced by say Highsmith, think how much better off we would be.

Also, unless you are a donor and/or season ticket holder, they are not going to give a blip. FWIW, I already sent them a complaint letter.

I agree, at least we are trying. I am a donor and I sent them a message as well.. Just complaining on a message board won't do anything. IF enough donors of the school complain, they have to at least listen and entertain possible changes.

Bro, it's Christmas time. I'm going to spend that $20 on my kids birthday. That dollar will go farther than donating to some conman's billboard. Everytime someone from the athletic department opens the billboard post, cackling and laughter can be heard all the way to China.

My life used to revolve around Miami football in the fall. But that was 15 years ago.it was fun while it lasted.

Gut check: if you're a curmudgeon that thinks nothing will change, the powers that be will never consider different and we are doomed and beholden to an unalterable fate and destiny, do those of us with hope a favor and SHUT UP. By your logic, if we do or don't do something, nothing will happen, so you're just smelling your own farts by commenting.

Your dip**** two cents isn't helping anyone. If everyone walked around with your mentality, we'd still be a ****** colony to the UK or the Roman Empire.

The only problem is that you only get that "Thank you for your interest in the University of Miami' form letter in return. This school, in addition to it's other BS, only responds to million dollar donation emails, snail mails, and phone calls. Alumni without $$$$$ are dead to them.
 
There is a filter in place in the admin named Wanda, who does this to your emails for a living:
