So Pete...after speaking with Mr. Felder would you conclude that his "Christness definds him"?

Muscle Milk and Gatorade for recovery at a top notch University is just sad lol

But why though??? With all the banned substances goin around, thats probably why they use that...

Because that's additional sugar and fat, they should just have water and fruit, things like that. Muscle milk should be used for growth not recovery, and on top of that just eating more protein and carbs is ten times better for lean muscle growth then muscle milk is.

When the question was asked where we are compared to other elite programs and he responded with, "We are making great strides"...that didnt make me feel too good. Maybe im looking to much into it. Its only been 6 months but still..

Great to hear that guys like JCarter, GWillis and Dobard are getting props for making it happen. Esp JCarter. He will be sorely needed.

Pretty sad that Gus was practically backing Swasey.. And then saying that they are building off of what Swasey previously had going. When is someone going to speak on how terrible this program was? We all knew the S&C was terrible prior to CMR. Hopefully Gus can cut the mustard.
I also found it interesting that the players are just now being coached up on what to eat... I guess the "training table" wasn't utilized the previous 2 years.

Gus was not backing Swasey he was being respectful. You didn't hear him chuckle when the interviewer asked if he talked with swasey about the players? He has nothing to gain from stepping on Swasey he's not stupid. All these dudes are political with their answers its part of the profession.

"...the work that the people don't see..."

Felder sounds well spoken (if not a touch politically correct) and (at least) talks like he has a handle on the necessary strategic and operational goals and how they translate to tactical performance (e.g. success on field). A little verbal stumble when he mentions, "...A guy like Stan Dobard did a 360 from where he was...", but his point was understandable that the athlete has changed and sustained his course for the better.

Does all this promise show up on game day?

Would seem Miami is in good shape.

Andrew Swasey wasn't the issue. Al Golden called the shots on the program. Swasey did what he was told to do. The interview on WQAM by Jon Feliciano should have made that clear by now.

Swasey couldn't pass a training course meant for S&C college trainers, disallowing him from entering the weight room. Need I remind you he was the head of the S&C program at a P5 school. So yes he was VERY much part of the issue.
