I have high expectations for this team. Experience and talent everywhere. Sure we have holes but so does everybody we play except FSU. No excuse to not win 10 this year.

Not really.
I was going to say that maybe if we had a rash of injuries to key players but then I remembered that in 2010 that team was relatively healthy all year and still went 7-6. So that wouldn't be having a 2010 type of year since injuries would play a factor in the final record.
But if this teams stays relatively healthy no way they go 7-6 or even 8-5.
This a 10+ win team.

I think we will be pretty much the team we were last year but could bb etter if the interior dl improves. We will get to the acctg thats likely or barely miss it again imo.

I think we will win 8-9 games again. I don't think replacing Morris with Williams will be much of a drop off.

DL is the only real big ?.

Other than that, we stay the same or improve at every other position.

I wish I had expectations. I don't trust the coaches.

We haven't won 10 games since 2003.

This year will break that trend.

But then again...I am one of the chief mopes.

have you looked at our schedule?

if were having to rely on olsen(who i think will be a stud) or cruise control williams to out score teams cause we cant stop anyone on D were gonna be in for a long season.. **** that neb and arky st games as OOC games i dont feel comfortable about and thats cause Nebraska was complete trash last year

We are going to crush both Neb and Arky St.

I'm worried about L'Ville.

All depends on Louisville. Lose that game and the season will unravel very quickly.

Schedule is slightly tougher than last year, but nothing that we shouldn't be able to handle. Plenty of talent on both sides of the ball to win 10 games and the Coastal. Anything less should be considered a failure by any and every Canes fan out there.

It's early, but I can see this team winning 9 or 10 if we stay healthy. The young guys will be coming in and backing up talented players on D. Not challenging for and taking time away from scrubs. Our best players on D are in their 3rd-4th year in the back seven (good) but--aside from McCord--in their 1st-2nd year in the front four (VERY bad). Another bigtime JUCO DT would make this roster look A LOT better on D. But as it stands now, this team could be anywhere from 7-10 wins and I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Louisville, Neb, UNC, GT, VT are all games that I look at and say, "if the ball bounces the wrong way..." That's a lot of toss-up games. Especially considering the recent troubles we've had with Duke and UVA. Those seniors may be gone, but the new groups at those schools still believe Miami is beatable and will be on HIGH ALERT for us.
