Anyone remember the sports reporter who said that Pacman should be drafted over Rolle?

The guy who was belittling Antrel Rolle having a police officer father, and arguing that Pacman was the better pick.

I want the name of that idiot, so that we can send him a link. Or another link.

nobody remembers this, but the year before pacman got suspended (his second year in tennessee i believe) he was starting to look like an elite corner and tearing it up as a punt returner. the dude was really good, but he’s an idiot and blew it, and was never really the same player after his suspension.

Pac-Man ended up having a longer career.

🤷🏻‍♂️

That's not really true, when you deduct all of the time that Pac-Man was suspended.

Pac-Man was eligible and on a roster for 11 full seasons and part of a 12th (partial year suspension). He played in 146 games. His career earnings are $39.8 million. He had 411 solo tackles and 17 INTs.

Antrel Rolle was eligible and on a roster for 11 full seasons. He played in 155 games. His career earnings are $62.5 million. He had 705 solo tackles and 26 INTs.

Antrel Rolle may have retired earlier than Pac-Man did, but he also wasn't suspended and/or playing in Canada for multiple years. Antrel had a more productive career, had better stats, more pay, and more games played.

I made two points: PacMan played longer (2015 vs 2018) and they both had solid careers.

I never said PacMan was better.

Who did say that though?
Some ******* that’s probably writing High School sports in Coweta Co, Ga. married to a women by the name of Eufaula. Whose Daddy owns the local paper. The Coweta Consensus.”if Ain’t News We Ain’t Printin’ It”

You are a passive-aggressive "devil's advocate". You said Pac-Man had a "longer career". That's not true. Antrel played more games and was never suspended for multiple seasons. You didn't get into "retirement date", you are just backpedaling now to try to make it look like you knew this all along.

You made ONE point. You have made OTHER points since you have been challenged, but your original ignorant comment was that Pacman had a "longer career".

Pacman was carried on rosters long past his "sell-by date" because people fell for his "potential". Meanwhile, Antrel played more games (in fewer years, sure) and made 50% more than Pacman on 50% better on-field production.

And, yes, Antrel retired rather than hang on for dear life because he squandered all his money (as Pacman did).
