Anyone ever heard Tressel took "tapes" from Miami?

Tapes or no tapes, Miami's offensive line got whipped all night—which rattled Dorsey and hurt the Canes—as did some late second quarter breakdowns that were the difference between a 7-0 half-time lead and 14-7 deficit.

The difference between the 2001 to 2002 offensive line was eerily reminiscent to the 1991 to 1992 season and line drop-off (that wrecked the Canes against Alabama.)

Yea it was mentioned that he came in offseason to learn from canes many moons ago, not sure about tapes but our offense wasnt complicated.. More built on we have better players and we gonna dominate.. Same on defense.. man 2 deep..

Made some difference but biggest difference Porter was not one of the officials in 2001

That’s a ridiculous comment. The 2001 team would have been up by so much they would never have been in that position. Our OL got whooped the whole night, and our DL against Clarett wasn’t much better. We should never have been in that position to be in OT or close enough for that call to matter given the talent gap.

That OSU team had a bunch of NFL talent, not star talent, but quality dependable guys. We had a talent drop off at some key spots that year and we didn't change a single thing we did offensively. They coached their asses off on D and whipped our OL all night long. Tapes or no tapes, both teams were solid as ****, but they played is straight up with coaching and beat us with some help from Porter.

The 1992 oline was atrocious at times. In some instances Carlos Etheridge, the TE, was playing tackle....and not for some tackle eligible plays either
