Anyone else think maybe Vinnie threw the fiesta bowl...

alot of ny athletes were known to have had mob ties. I never heard that about vinny. i mean back then it was highly possible but i wouldnt want to tarnish him like that, it prob would have at least been a rumor. No one has ever heard anything like that.

It never would have gotten to that point if we didn't let him throw it 50 times. When they are dropping eight, you run the ball.

Coaching could have cured the problem.

Stupid premise. Interceptaverde went on to do the same crap in the league.

The bigger question is we were running the ball down state penn throat and why put the game in vinnies hands when he was obviously off.

Are you kidding?

Man, the sheep in Vinny's sleep are probably intercepted too...He's the QB version of the movie 'Taken'.

I blame the coaches for that game.. Just run the **** draw play and that game is over with in the 1st half...

No. Penn State didn't win that game. The Canes just played out of their minds bad that day.

Yeap. JJ got out coached that game with the same defense that beat him the year before in the Sugar Bowl. Ten more running plays and ten less passing plays, we win that game. Highsmith was killing them. He is one of our Cane gods, but JJ had to learn to coach bowl games--lost his first three here. Thing is that he could swallow is pride and adapt.

I thought Bernie sold us out , we dominated that game , Penn State couldn't do nothing. They crossed our 50 even with the turnovers 3 times, probably the best team not to win the championship

He looked awful the whole game. I didn't think he looked like he had recovered from the scooter accident. Geoff Torretta should have played instead.
