...that the SEC's business partner, ESPN, is doing all kinds of contortions to make it appear Tunsil's texts were: either frauds made by someone else (even though Tunsil admitted writing them); or an indictment of the NCAA for exploiting players and forcing them to take payola.

Fcking pathetic.

they gotta stop the bleeding for their high priced investment the SEC Network, Ole Miss who is new and terrible at the SEC corruption game, is a liability right now, Freeze must be getting rheemed right now by SEC and ESPN officials

They just better hope that the Department of Justice doesn't get involved like they did with the satellite camps. Wishful thinking but still.

These dudes get caught texting about payoffs (and I'm sure that was after already denying any wrongdoing to the NCAA). Tunsil admits to it. And here we have ESPN trying to make excuses for it and portray Tunsil as a victim.

It's truly laughable how blatant ESPN is in protecting its business partner.

They are in a tailspin. Fully expect Pam Ward to be the new voice of MNF at this point.

Shít's not odd at all. It's business as usual. Protecting your corporate partner to maximize returns on your investment.

But yeah, it's pathetic how blatantly obvious they are about, while the NCAA sits by with its thumb up its aśś. Ole **** is just the tip of the iceberg. Alabama coach resigns (or fired) today because of similar infractions related to Ole ****. Hear about it from ESPN??

Its more sad people still watch ESPN. Though I will admit that I caved in for draft purposes last night. Funniest part of the entire night was that the Bucs foiled ESPNs plans and traded out right when they were heading to a commercial break. ESPN must be ticked they had to televise a Bucs pick for the first time in 10 years.

At the end of the day, nothing will really change.

We just have to take care of who we are and what we do. Keep bringing in the right kids like we have this year, get some studs to enroll early, treat them right, and fück all the noise. The U never got help from anyone outside (like media) to be great. We'll still be hated. All the more as we get better. It's who we are.

You mean Edgar Cayce? I am pretty sure Edgar J. Hoover invented the vacuum cleaner.

So you don't you don't know J. Edgar Hoover is?? Even though I misplaced the J you really still have no idea who I'm talking about

Jimmy Sexton using all of his might to spin this story off of his two clients.

Also did anyone else see the Eric ****erson make an appearance on sports center? Odd that the face of the SMU scandal made an appearance talking about his draft day experience by the LA Rams

I watched the entire draft on the NFL Network... What happen on ESPN?

So Tunsil falls to Miami. A solid pick ..Dont know why the NYG passed on him over Eli Apple.

Don't change a thing. This is pure comedy at its finest. They teach that in advanced history. Edgar J. Hoover invented the vacuum cleaner.
