Anyone concerned about the weather report for the game?

Just saw a report of a tropical disturbance that will potentially make central Florida soaked with heavy rains Sat. I know heavy rain slows the players and gives QB’s issues with throwing and handling the ball. We have a QB who doesn’t have a ton of play experience with our players it’s the last thing I want. I want him to only worry about the other teams defense and not a million other things or the fact we might have to change our game plan. Not only that but JThomas can’t be as explosive, nor can our Backs. Yes it will also effect the Gators too. I’m interested in your thoughts of how this might effect our team and if it does rain heavy which team does this benefit more?

You should probably go to the Backstreet Boys concert instead. It's inside.

J Payton ran the ball all day long and beat FSU in a driving rain in Tally many moons ago...oh the memories.

Not concerned about the effect on the outcome, but it would make it harder to evaluate the team - which is what I really want to do this weekend.

People's interpretations of tropical information never ceases to amaze me. There is no tropical disturbance that will impact Orlando. The NHC gives the disturbance (which is WELL southeast of Miami right now) a 0% chance to have any tropical formation within 48 hours and 20% within 5 days. Some clouds MAY move west over Florida over the next few days, but the game is in 80 hours. There will be nothing more than a normal afternoon shower, if that. We're fine.

according to weather bug 60% of rain in am then 20% in evening. Nothing in the gulf on the radar that will linger till saturday
