Anyone close to the BOT?

First things first- The BOT needs to make a change at the top of the athletic department and bring in a new ad. I would love to see them fire James and bring in the Louisville AD who went here! Anybody have any relationships with the BOT? Any scuttle but about firing James?

Tom Jurich? He went here?

Anyhow, nobody here would have a problem with that, but his name was linked to the open Texas sporting long ago. I don't know if he's still in the running, but if Texas can't hire him away, we sure as **** can't.
 
I am. My connection says Butch can't sniff Golden's jockstrap. We are trending up, installing pillars, and, generally, buying in.
 
Jurich doesnt believe in buyouts. The BOT wouldnt like him. Below is a 2013 Louisville article, when he wrote in a 5 mill buyout for Strong if he left.

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- For University of Louisville athletic director Tom Jurich, "buyout" has always been a bad word.

He didn't believe in buyouts, didn't want them, had little use for them.

If a coach didn't want to be at U of L, Jurich didn't want to hold him or her against his will. If it took a contract clause to keep somebody, he'd rather go find someone who wanted to be there.

Steve Kragthorpe asked for a modest buyout in a reworked deal. Bobby Petrino supposedly did the same in a long-term deal he broke the season after it was signed.

But when it came to reworking Charlie Strong's U of L contract over the past two months, it was Jurich who hammered home the buyout.
 
Uhhh, anybody hear about this little dust up in L'ville with hookers and escort services...So much for Jurich.
 
Yes. My good friends mother is on the BOT. They are not miami alumni and don't give a **** about the football team. She has no idea who corch foldem is. They donate huge to med school. The BOT are made up of super rich people who don't give a **** about the football program.
 
Most of them are not from Miami or alumini... they don't care about Miami football or if it even exists... they wouldn't know the Hurricanes from the Real Madrid!
