Any news on AQM?

At the game Saturday and I don't think I remember him seeing the field once. Matter fact I remember seeing him standing next to wyhce with his full gear on. Was this another one of he's not suspended I just decided to hold him out by golden and dnofrio saying he has no comment on the situation and them not playing there best players

This situation is annoying. Announce a suspension, even if its indefinite...or play the kid. Makes no sense to keep everyone in the dark. What a great coaching staff.

The coaching staff is wrong because you think you have a right to know someone else's affairs?

They are wrong because they don't win enough football games. Not because they are protecting the player's situation.
 
It's up to the school right now. Can't play him because if he gets suspended for the year then he can't redshirt.
 
I don't need to know all of the details as to why he is suspended. At least announce a suspension. Say that he is suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. Say something. Its better than having him stand there on the sidelines fully-dressed for two games and having your entire fan base think you are retarded for not playing arguably our top pass rusher.
 
For the low IQ folks, this has nothing to do with the Football team or coaching staff and they have very little if any control over the outcome. He is not in trouble with the football team. Why he's not playing is a decision made by Golden with the information he has. BigCaneAl made a very good point as to why Golden may have decided not to play him. He also may need a ruling from th VP-SA, and he probably does not want to flaunt that.

So why dress him and have him standing on the sidelines? Are they hoping that the University somehow decides at halftime or mid-quarter one game that AQM is cleared to play and then run him out there? I've never seen a suspension of any sort handled in this fashion.
 
We should put a call into the FAMU equipment guy for his thoughts on this.

What impact does this have on the integrity of the uniform due to unnecessary washing if he was never going to play?

Is this abuse of resources enough to fire Golden for cause? --- someone told me there is a provision in his contract dealing with for cause dismissal.
 
The baffoonary continues. AQM has not been arrested. If any action takes place, it's civil. What a freaking joke of an Administration!

Well clearly it was directed towards me as I seem to be the only person that thinks that running a kid out there in full uniform for two games in a row when you have absolutely zero intention of playing him is rather stupid. I guess you are all right. This "suspension" makes perfect sense. Sorry for questioning this heralded staff.

I mean why not dress Olsen then? Clearly both Olsen and AQM are "suspended" in some way. Clearly there was zero chance of either of them playing in the first 2 games. The only difference is that AQM appears to be "suspended" by the University. But hey, if all this makes sense to you guys then so be it.
