Golden is let go if we lose this weekend? 5 straight to FSU by Golden and 6 in the series. They are our biggest competitor on recruits as well. Show everyone we are fed up and cut the cord?

If wherras info about them having the thought of letting him go last week after Cincy is correct, why not after this game if it is a bad loss?

FSU may be ranked but we are about on the same talent level.

The problem is that you have to fire Dnofrio also.

Who the f**k will run the defense?

You are delusional. We have a few guys that might start on that team. Maybe Kaaya and Elder. That's about it.

We just lost by double digits to a 2-2 Cincy and this mouth breather is trying to talk about having equal talent with FSU.
 
What part of "will evaluate things at end of season" does our fan base not get? Blake James is not Pat Haden and going to kick Al off of the team bus at the airport. Miami is a politically correct school that will give Al a "fair shake". End of story
 
I have no sauces. But I actually do think if we lose by enough he's canned on sunday. I think there is a good chance. Donofrio would go to. Kehoe would be interim. he's been here long enough that he can have his turn at being the guy for a few games. Upgrade someone on the defensive staff to DC and go from there. There's no reason this shouldn't happen.

There's no reason any logical person could have kept him after last year. There is no reason any logical person would have kept him after last week.

Unlike Ross, who at least just admitted in hindsight he should have canned Philbin last year, there are recruiting consequences to doing what these idiots are doing. The only answer would be to go strong after Butch now since he "could" step in immediately and finish the season with a makeshift staff without Golden and D'oNofrio...then have time to evaluate what if any pieces he wants to retain and time to get to know some of the 2016 recruits we might still be able to keep.

Again, no logical reason for this not to happen except UM decisions have pretty much defied logic since Butch left the program.

Give us a good head coach and I'm not saying that we will for sure win, but it will definitely be a game all the way down to 0:00 left on the clock
 
Honestly, this is a scenario of addition by subtraction. Even Brown calling the plays on defense, and simply letting these guys loose to play their style would be an upgrade.

I'm of the firm belief we would have a better shot this weekend with Golden not coaching them.

Let's face it, we know what we get with him.

No. I still think the earliest he gets bounced would be after a blowout loss to FSU and a loss to pitiful VT at home in front of a tiny crowd. Like many on this board, I'm afraid he might make it through the season.
