“We haven’t finished the season in the last two seasons like we’d like,” Saban said to ESPN’s Paul Finebaum (per Atlanta Journal-Constitution). “People talk about you won four national championships. Well, I feel like we’ve had good enough teams to win eight. So I feel like we failed four times. I feel like I failed four times.”

Or, for the "Golden needs more time" crowd ... Will Golden ever operate under that perspective?

We have, "we're not tackling. We're not getting off the field on third down. We're not converting on third down."

Oh yeah.

And the other two-score excuses.

Joe, it's starts with me, but to be honest it's the players that have to execute and they just don't do it on a consistent basis.
