Well, at least publicly. Seriously. Herbstreit said what all of our famous players should be out there saying. These guys are always talking about “the U” but not one of them is willing to come out and demand change.

You can either be part of the solution or part of the problem. Anyone staying quiet is part of the problem. The bigger the platform, the bigger their part.

There was a period in time where Miami milked former players a lot. The well ran dry after they stopped producing elite NFL talent. It’s over.

He’s not the only one, as much as most hate Cowherd he’s said for years college football needs “hip thrust” back aka Miami
Think about all of the Alum that have broadcast jobs. Irvin has one of the biggest platforms in sports. Greg Olsen, Johnathan Vilma. Ray Lewis was just on with the Mannings on MNF. I’m sure there are more. Where is the push demanding reform at the school they love and built?

Are they scared to get banned by Manny??? How will they live if they miss those huge victories like App State and Eastbound and Down Connecticut Tech State????

Herbie works for The Mouse. He will do whatever his Disney overlords want, even if it means crying fakeass crocodile tears over racial injustice on national TV.

In this application Disney sees Clemson falling back a step and is in fear that the ACC wont have any elite marketable football programs, so they've decided to fire a shot across the bow of UM leadership in order to get their football house in order.

I’ll add it seemed even the ESPN announcers were flat out critical all game of Miami and Diaz….

Including talking about celebrating with jewelry being down or making them out on TD rings

Talk about having your finger on the pulse. That is exactly what happened. I am genuinely impressed by your insight.

I think you're on to something. Even ESPN is sick of this crap. Miami is a major brand that should bringing in much more revenue.

You have no clue what the fvck you're saying. You think cause our moves aint made on social media, that means we're staying quiet... Fvck outta here with that. We speak in & too the individuals that matter & in far more relevant forums. Sorry that don't work for you, but this ain't about a debate or casual entertainment for us. Some of us **** sure don't speak up but that's on them. Not on us as a whole & you just decided to throw all of us into one *****ass category like we're church mice and ****... Its not even close to the case.

SPOILER ALERT: The individuals that matter are not listening to you.
But when the noise is loud enough from the National media they are forced to listen. Just saying that if Mike went on First Take and blasted the U, don’t you think people would be forced to at least take notice? What harm can it do? It can’t get worse, that’s for sure.

ESPN still has a national Miami game on long after we've been relevant. They can't be happy either. Low ratings, empty stadium - might be the last time we are on national TV for a while. A powerhouse Miami team is good for college football!

go Canes!
