Alright my fellow Canes. We made history today of Miami football.

1987 destroys this season

We beat these rivals and won it all.

Florida
Florida State
Virginia Tech (was not a rival, but I included them)
Nortre Dame
South Carolina (good team and rival then)
Oklahoma

Although we were Independent and did not play some of these teams every year, they were our most hated rivals
Ok, glad to have that corrected. Still happy for what has been accomplished with those games this year.

And maybe we can get a couple of upset losses in front of us this coming weekend and actually win our game. Then squeak into the playoffs.

I am basically in the same line of thought. Ideally Mario will get us 10 to 11 win seasons or around that regularly. Not sure if he can be able to get to the National Championship unless we get some miracle like last year's offense and this year's defense at the same time. We really need to have a quarterback stay for 2 years or develop a quarterback that is very good for 2 years .

He at least you should be here for another two seasons just to really add quality depth. He does recruit real well, and besides our buyout is way too high and we wouldn't know who else to get.

We all can enjoy the season for what it is, and it would be the best case scenario to get to 11 wins

Mario's need for control just strangles our Coordinators.

Certainly our Offensive Coordinators.

I he would just turn them loose - tell them to do their job - and stays out of it - we see our teams producing, having fun, and everyone's happy.

When he's playing not to lose - it's contagious. It pukes out the players, no one is having fun, maybe two or three are producing - and that's not enough.

That's why really controlling men lose some really outstanding women - they try to control too much, and hang on too tight. And they lose.

Correct me if I am wrong....

In our history. In one single season. Have we beaten. Mostly sound.

ND
UF
FSU
VT

In a single season. Wholly ish. Think about the timeline THAT IS AMAZING!

I don't think of any other team in college football history has done anything like that. 4 ginormous rivals in one year.

Soak that in and be proud of what Miami has done this year. We really did slay all our dragons

The season is what it is but we are definitely on the right path.

Fan since 1983?

So, you're a newbie!

Welcome!

I hear you.

But....It's better than Golden showers. It's better than Manny manure. And Radio Randy.

We are stacking Talent. 2 deep. Beck is now in stride. Yes , he needed to be in stride against our losses. Certainly Louisville.

Beat Pitt. If he's willing to play the full bowl game.

then let's win the bowl game and he's good in
my book.
beat Pitt

1987

Miami 31 Florida 4
Miami 26 FSU 25
Miami 27 VT 13
Miami 24 ND 0

Florida was ranked 20
FSU was ranked 4
VT was horrible (2-9) and it was 13-13 with 5 minutes left
ND was ranked 10

And, as stated above, beat 10th ranked Arkansas 51-7 in Little Rock. Beat #8 South Carolina 20-16 (bench clearing brawl). And beat #1 Oklahoma 20-14 in the Orange Bowl to win the national title.
