In a single season. Wholly ish. Think about the timeline THAT IS AMAZING!

I don't think of any other team in college football history has done anything like that. 4 ginormous rivals in one year.

Soak that in and be proud of what Miami has done this year. We really did slay all our dragons

The season is what it is but we are definitely on the right path.

That’s actually good **** right there… still need Mario to change his philosophy if we want to ever do more.

His ceiling is Stare Champs. Let’s not fool ourselves- he is what he is.

Question is are we willing to deal with constantly not meeting expectations and never winning the ACC?

He won’t get us there regardless of how much talent we buy.

Sill lost to Louisville and SMU as a double digit favorite. No ACC title game and might be out of the playoffs. But yea cool.
I hear you.

But....It's better than Golden showers. It's better than Manny manure. And Radio Randy.

We are stacking Talent. 2 deep. Beck is now in stride. Yes , he needed to be in stride against our losses. Certainly Louisville.

Beat Pitt. If he's willing to play the full bowl game.

then let's win the bowl game and he's good in
my book.

Wait a second. I thought Shooter McGavin was dancing in the streets when we lost to SMU!

🤔

At the beginning of the year I said Caveman would cost us 1-2 games this year, until that changes we have reached our ceiling.
And we still need to play PITT on the road in the cold …………
We are going to beat Pitt.

You’re probably right.

Baby steps for our infantile head coach that has to keep touching the hot stove to learn that the hot stove is... hot! Who thinks Mario won't go conservative the first chance he gets next year and blow another game or two? What happens is a playoff game under Mario, does he again get that deer in the headlights look before he decides to run the ball into the line of scrimmage repeatedly on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1? He blew last year, he blew this year, when is he going to learn that his decisions are the thing holding the team back? Review every game of the season in the offseason, play by play and look at the decisions that were made and how instead of choosing not to win, Mario could have actually chosen a play to win a game. He keeps choosing to make the other team beat itself instead of choosing to win a game and the cycle keeps repeating. There is a point in every game where you can put the hammer down, Mario needs someone to tell him when that time is because he does not seem to have that skill. He is an awesome recruiter and has loaded the cupboard, but if you can't cook with all those great ingredients then get out of the kitchen at dinner time and let those that can take those ingredients and make a masterpiece out of it, you still get the credit for hiring those masters!

W/out looking it up, I'll take a guess that one of our undefeated seasons accomplished this previously as well.

I have no choice but to trust Mario, I think hes good. Good enough to win the natty? idk about all that but appreciate the build. And I do not for once trust this admin to make a good hire after this.
I am basically in the same line of thought. Ideally Mario will get us 10 to 11 win seasons or around that regularly. Not sure if he can be able to get to the National Championship unless we get some miracle like last year's offense and this year's defense at the same time. We really need to have a quarterback stay for 2 years or develop a quarterback that is very good for 2 years .

He at least you should be here for another two seasons just to really add quality depth. He does recruit real well, and besides our buyout is way too high and we wouldn't know who else to get.

We all can enjoy the season for what it is, and it would be the best case scenario to get to 11 wins

Not sure. Our 01 team and those years did not play Notre Dame. The '80s teams did not play Virginia Tech almost at all.

And as we all know the Florida squad has been pretty random when we play them for over 25 years now.

1987 destroys this season

We beat these rivals and won it all.

Florida
Florida State
Virginia Tech (was not a rival, but I included them)
Nortre Dame
South Carolina (good team and rival then)
Oklahoma

Although we were Independent and did not play some of these teams every year, they were our most hated rivals
