Alonzo Highsmith - AD

No. It's a terrible idea.

Miami needs someone competent, tough, and EXPERIENCED running the athletic department. While Highsmith might check the boxes for 1 and 2, he has never been in charge of an athletic department.

Stop looking through the scope of the football program. The entire athletic program needs to be overhauled. Highsmith would be a terrible hire and we'd be back in this position in three years.

I don’t think Zo should be AD, but I do think he should be director of football with a fair amount of autonomy in that role.

I think Chief of Staff is fairly common at big programs.
Yeah, but would we keep Ed @ COS and then add and AD AND a football GM? Seems like a bit much when we could be paying for support staff in the football program
