1. He was in the nation's toughest conference, had almost 10 wins a year, had less talent than he'll have at Miami. And only downturned at the end because of the AD's meddling.
2. Underachieved, trending down at the end, may have been a great coach a decade ago but not anymore. And coached in the mediocre SEC East division. And got fired.

The truth is probably somewhere in between these 2 views.
But the bottom line is this

Shouldn't we just judge him on how he does at Miami? I'm willing to give him 4 years to turn the team around just like I was with Golden.

Mark Richt didn't win enough "BIG" games at UGA. What happened the last three season were inexcusable on Georgia's behalf. You can't let a new team win the division twice. Then, lose to a new coach.

I don't think Richt has the personality to push back against the pressure to do things the "Georgia Way" like Smart does. It doesn't mean that Smart will be successful, but he's the one calling the shots there now. Richt had to go, but it doesn't mean that he won't win at Miami, especially with him being back involved with the offense and coaching QB's again.

I've banned him and his multiple usernames dozens of times. Not even exaggerating. He creates fake emails and fake ip addresses and does the same thing over and over again. We're trying to find a way to stop the problem but if he keeps using proxies and creating new emails it's tough.
