There seem to be 2 different interpretations
1. He was in the nation's toughest conference, had almost 10 wins a year, had less talent than he'll have at Miami. And only downturned at the end because of the AD's meddling.
2. Underachieved, trending down at the end, may have been a great coach a decade ago but not anymore. And coached in the mediocre SEC East division. And got fired.
The truth is probably somewhere in between these 2 views.
But the bottom line is this
Shouldn't we just judge him on how he does at Miami? I'm willing to give him 4 years to turn the team around just like I was with Golden.
