Like I said I crossed over the line but I got my heels backed up to it so I can easily just step back to the MEH side but I got a feeling I’m on the Manny side for good.

This. I was dumbfounded at the speedy hire. But I see great moves off the football field so far - solid, **** near ecstatic. But not “drinking the Koolaid” so far, want to see sustained progress.
 
Pump the brakes.

THE PORTAL is exciting and fun, sure. But, it speaks a lot to how poor the roster construction was under Richt, and really, under the latter years of Golden.

Manny has done a really good job and Miami is kind of setting the standard for teams using THE PORTAL (next year, watch, the PORTAL is going to be bonkers for a lot of teams)...but lets see how this all comes together in 2019 and beyond.

Now that players are aware of this, they can plan for portal as opposed to this kind of happening out of no where.
 
The portal will keep coaches and players on their toes. It also reinforces that they're on a yearly scholarship, and can be replaced easily.
 
Just have to hope that Enos can bring in immediate change and impact like Manny did his first year with the Defense.

Also the special teams need to improve drastically.


But so far all the moves are very encouraging and I love that there is a buzz again.
 
While I am miles from the "I might not even watch the first game" feeling after the debacle in New York, I fell for the hype last year and got burned. So I'm gonna pump the breaks some until we see what hits the Gators

lol at all the nancies running in here to try to bring down other fans enthusiasm. He can't win games for about another 8 months. Nothing wrong with some positive energy in the meantime.

The portal is a tool if used effectively and efficiently, as Manny has done, can be used to upgrade the bottom of your roster. And, build up the RS’s. To increase depth. What you don’t want is to have it as a roster killer like VT.
