"Al, where's the progress?"

I'm getting popcorn for the next few weeks and hoping...

It's not about the initial questions that you ask but where the media fails is the follow up

When you asked what's you message to recruits
And he says we are focused on Pitt

Then you start hitting him with every stat and the schemes and have him explain that answer because the state of the program is in trouble

When you ask what's the direction of the program

Then you follow up with Al your current record is what are those conversations like
Then you ask your record is trending down you have no answers for recruits you have no major wins against ranked opponents

Hit him where it hurts make him answer the real questions not say "we are just shutting out the noise"

the media is just as soft as Al, they let him off the hook so easily. they are all scared that UM will yank their press passes as the school protects Al like the Secret Service

The Heralds got it covered:

Whether they end up in El Paso again for the Sun Bowl, Nashville for the Music City Bowl or some other bowl far away from the spotlight, coach Al Golden said Sunday ending his fourth season with a pair of wins is the best way the University of Miami “can show some progress” and bounce back from Saturday’s ugly 30-13 loss at Virginia.

Certainly, outside of doing that, it would be hard for UM fans to tell the difference between the job Golden had done in his four years here compared to his predecessor.
