What a terrible job by this offensive coaching staff . I believe Kaaya will be good but you don't start a true freshman in hostile environment when you have a 5th year senior qb with 25 starts under his belt. This genius move by our coaching staff allowed louisville to go bump and run with 8-9 guys in the box all night which checkmated duke. This kid should of never burned his redshirt. Just like everyone else I wanted to see the kid but couldn't our coaches have thought like louisville and exposed him in practice? First series you open with a pass after a 3 and out by the louisville. 2nd series you open with a pass. After the turnover you open with a backwards lateral. Why do we have duke johnson? The interception was a high school throw. Missing dorrsett when he was wide open was what you expect from a kid coming out of hs. How do you come away with three points after two sack and fumbles inside the 10. This team is poorly coached especially our special teams. Coach doritio's defense for the most part was not terrible but late in the game I saw Mccord peaking inside to only have the back bounce it for first down and Deon bush clueless on last td. Louisville was a decent team which we would of beat if we had a real coach. A real coach gets us out of there with a 21-17 win based on our talent.

I had no problem with him starting. The problem was Coley evidently didn't trust him to throw beyond 5 yards except for a couple plays. And if that was the case, then don't start him. They set up Kaaya to fail just like they've set up many of the players to fail over the last 4 years.
 
I wanted the kid to play as well. The staff did not prepare him enough and I believe that heaps would of handled the offense better. It's sad to see the wr's getting mad on the sideline because they don't have a qb with the tools.

you ever ask yourself why they didnt prepare him enough? It might be that the staff is clueless

this... and as long as they continue w/this prevent offense, the team will live down to their expectations.
