ACC odds per SuperBookUSA

Both teams got 10 top college quarterbacks. It’s a game I’m very excited about. If we smash UNC I’ll be happy. I think that’ll be a one score game, Unless Miami’s 2020 defense is ELITE.

Haven’t seen us to know yet, I think we still win, but I think it will be a shootout and a FUN game.

one of those 45-40, 55-48 type of games.
If it’s low scoring I’m favoring Miami by a large margin.

I’m on the Miami 11-1, 12-0 train. This probably a tougher game than FSU.

Why does our defense have to be elite? For about 50 minutes last year our defense gave up almost nothing to UNC, UNC did all their damage their first 3 drives and did nothing until 4th and 17

UNC is by far the most overrated team in the nation with the most overrated QB in the nation. He throws a nice deep ball and that’s about it, sorry

I think they lose the 1st 2 games (UCF and Auburn) and pressure is on. They arent winning 4 straight against those ACC teams before Miami. 1 of those games will be loss (prob VT, though I think GT will be a tough out all year). So they roll into Hard Rock at 4-3. Miami SHOULD be 8-0 and possibly ranked top 10. Not worried about Sparty. WF honestly is more concerning. Rosseau will eat Howell alive. Cant do much more to bump draft stock than cause a potential 1st round QB to **** himself. Stacey Searles's "coaching" will ruin their OL.

Clemson is actually the favorite to win the national championship at just +245 now at Bookmaker. We are +8000 or 80:1 odds to win the national championship. UNC doesn't even have odds to win the national championship.

Oddschecker has UNC as a slight dog (11/10) against UCF (13/17). Yes, they use English odds because it's an English site. Look ahead lines has us a short favorite (10/21 odds to win) at Virginia. FSU is +200 against us now for our game. They don't have look ahead lines for us versus UNC. But one thing is for sure, if UNC is a dog to UCF, you can guarantee they're a dog against Auburn the following week. And so their season may be off the rails before it gets going.

VT would be my pick for the L of those ACC games. They CAN get through it 4-0. But VT with a solid D and efficient QB could do it.

Auburn is going to be pre-season top 10. Auburn also lost all 4 of their games by less than a touchdown. Including against the national champs.

UNC is going to be a big dog there. Wayyyyy more Auburn fans going to be in Atlanta than UNC fans.

I’m surprised at those odds for UNC-UCF. Could be worth a flier week 1.

Yeah, I’m surprised, too. They’re basically setting the line around UCF -2.5, not higher. That can easily become UNC -3 by kickoff, but I don’t see the oddsmakers setting a line more off than that, barring some drastic injuries/suspensions/COVID stuff. I’d say expect UCF to be a slight favorite.

Funny part is I could see that game being somewhere around there.

I usually only bet Dogs anyway. So it would be a easy bet.

Like last year when I bet Boise State over FSU. That was still my most successful bet ever lol.

2020 UNC schedule
Game 1 @ UCF
Not a slouch team. They get to face off against another super sophomore QB in Dillon Gabriel. That boy won 10 games as a true freshman. This low-key is a good game for both teams. UCF has 17 players on the pre-season All-AAC team. Probably going to open this as a top 25 matchup between the two. UNC is likely to be 15-20 range. UCF probably in the 20s. This game should tell me all I need to know about UNC football for the season. Regardless of what happens at Auburn.

Game 2 Vs Auburn in Atlanta (Auburn Home Game)
If they beat UCF they get the opportunity like Oregon had to beat what is likely a top 10 Auburn team. Can they do it? Or will they ruin it like Oregon? Is Bo Nix that good? All these get answered during this game.
Game 3 vs JMU W

Game 4 vs GT W

Game 5 @ UVA W
Bryce Perkins was a stud. UVA has a solid OL coming back and solid LBs. But no QB = L to me.

Game 6 vs VT W
The strength of VT this season is the defense and specifically the back 7. They have a QB who doesn’t turn the ball over and is efficient. The difference is they get VT at home. If this was @ VT I’d call the upset in Blacksburg.

Game 7 @ Duke W
No QB. Crappy team.

Game 8 @ Miami L
Battle of the coastal. L to Miami at home.

Game 9 vs Uconn W

Game 10 VS Pitt W
Pitt will be solid this year. SR Coming back. I’ve giving UNC the benefit of the doubt at home. If this was away I’d say a L.

Game 11 @ Boston College W
Losing AJ Dillon is a blow. Scrappy team. They have another very good RB though. I think 2020 UNC May have the confidence flowing and go up there and win.

Game 12 vs NCST W

My thoughts on their schedule. I believe they will be a good team this year if the hype and Sam Howell is the real deal. I think he’s legit and legit QBs don’t lose the toss up games.

They are outmatched talent wise at Miami and Auburn. I see them anywhere from 8-4 to 12-0. How they handle the first two top 25 games which are very tough. Will show me what they are made of. Win the first two I think they are going for 10 wins. Lose or split the first two and they could go from 8-4 to 9-3 IMO. Still a solid ball club.

Not going to crown them until after the AU game.
You've really been adding value here lately.

They were also a few plays away from 12-0

They lost EVERY SINGLE GAME By less than a TD.

With a young *** team. That experience should translate over.

We can do the what if game every direction with UNC. But right now they are a solid ball club and will give Miami a fight if not win the game in 2020.

Well, actually, if they lost every single game by less than a TD that would have made them 0-12 last year...LOL

they got Sam Howell as top 10 CFB QB.

I’ve been saying that’s the game of the coastal since the schedule came out.

This is setting up to be one of UNCs best seasons in recent history.
They did go 11-3 and 8-0 in the ACC in 2015 and were ranked #8 when they played Clemson in the ACCCG. They've had some really good years in recent history. We've been having trouble with them for 15 years

2020 on paper is a better team than the 2015 team.

Partly why I think they’ll be a decent club. They open the season hella tough.

Of the season openers I’m looking forward to:
1 Miami vs Temple
2 BAMA vs USC (Bama with no Tua? Can USC do it? Bama would actually be vulnerable here)
3 UNC-UCF
4 Michigan - Washington
5. WVU-FSU

Im sure I’ll watch some of the other games. But for sure I’m watching those.

That’s a good slate of opening week games. I agree Bama won’t be as good, but that game is played in Arlington and I see the early line is USC +500 on the moneyline. Should translate to something like Bama -11.5 or so. I’d like to watch all those games.

Yeah Bama hosed USC last go round. They might do the same this time. If they just keep handing the ball to Najee Harris. Not sure how good USCs Rush Defense is. But that’s what I would do.

Try to get Najee over 200 yards. They got DeVonta Smith and Jaylen Waddle back so they definitely not hurting at WR.

I didn’t pay attention to Bamas defense or who left but they probably just going to (insert 5 star here) for whoever left.

Harris, Smith, And Waddle are arguably top 5 at their position group.....before spring ball got canceled they were saying Mac Jones was going to be in a fight with Bryce Young for the starting job.

Slovis for USC impresses me. I know they run the air raid now so they don’t run as much. But I do like both USC tailbacks. They both would be 1000 yard rushers on a non air raid team.

Big fan of Amon Ra and Tyler Vaughn’s at WR. Both will get drafted.

For sure. I want a top game on Miami’s resume. We need the coastal not to be dumpster fire. Miami has a the outside chance at the playoffs.

In the playoff era I hope all the coastal teams are fringe top 25ish teams.

Hope UNC knocks off Auburn and then comes to the rock ranked top 10 and Miami beats that ***.

UNC will head into Miami with 2-3 losses.

So what you're really saying is UNC gonna be a nice team to ride with after that Auburn game. :fistbump:

With that said, the lines look fine to me.

I wouldn't underrate UNC just because we're Miami fans. Mack Brown is a good coach that has quickly got the culture in a better place. They've got a spark plug level up QB. They've got good coordinators.

Key factor in Miami - UNC is going to be Lashlee and D'Eriq King. If they are the real deal as a pair, Miami should win the game and be the favorites going into it. If there is trouble in paradise, we gonna be hating life again.

Facts. You guys just made me watch that nightmare over for 26 minutes.

tbh UNC was moving that bih on the ground.

What was our record last year?
Miami was 6-7 last year. The difference is, Miami hired an entire new staff to coach their offense and brought in a Heisman candidate to play quarterback. UNC is bringing back the same team with the same coaches.
