As expected, UNC our biggest threat in the Coastal.

It’s time for Canes fans to acknowledge that UNC is not going to be a cake walk. I fully expect our matchup against them to be for the coastal. We’ll both be in the top 20 by the time that game rolls around.

they got Sam Howell as top 10 CFB QB.

I’ve been saying that’s the game of the coastal since the schedule came out.

This is setting up to be one of UNCs best seasons in recent history.

UNC was a 4th and 17 conversion away from being 6-7 last year,. Might need to pump the breaks

They were also a few plays away from 12-0

They lost EVERY SINGLE GAME By less than a TD.

With a young *** team. That experience should translate over.

We can do the what if game every direction with UNC. But right now they are a solid ball club and will give Miami a fight if not win the game in 2020.

Mack Brown- Has there ever been a coach with more talent and resources that underachieved as much? 15 years at Texas. Basically every kid in the state of Texas wants to be a Longhorn. Texas oil money was a blank check. Effectively unlimited money. Yet in all that time, he wins just 1 championship.

The only guy I can think of that comes close to that is Mark Richt, but to be fair to Richt, he was trying to run a relatively clean program in a dirty conference.

So were we. Do they hate their HC?

Defense is TRASH. We should put up 40+ without an issue. They will be one bad turnover away from getting run out of the building the whole second half. Save this post.

I get you. I thought he was a solid hire for them from the jump. A championship coach is still a championship coach to me. (Not all the time see Coker) but vast majority of the time.

He’s recruiting on fire right now And literally took a team that won 2 games to winning 8 games year one that’s a **** of a turnaround.

When they beat South Carolina and Miami back to back that was the moment I took them seriously. Dudes in the thread were saying UNC wouldn’t even win 4 games after they beat Miami. I’m like nahhhhh. And they won 8.

That’s a huge jump. I hear you about Mack Brown. Old man seems to have some life in him right now. It would not surprise me in the least to see them build on that bowl game momentum and win 10 games.

Sleeping on them is how Miami got beat.

Not trying to put orange and green glasses on, but I think you are vastly overrating UNC. UNC was at home and required a miracle 4th down to play to beat one of the worst Miami teams in recent memory. UNC is coming back basically the same team, while Miami is much, much better. Between us and them, one of the teams has a QB with the 4th best Heisman odds. Hint- its not UNC.

Both teams got 10 top college quarterbacks. It’s a game I’m very excited about. If we smash UNC I’ll be happy. I think that’ll be a one score game, Unless Miami’s 2020 defense is ELITE.

Haven’t seen us to know yet, I think we still win, but I think it will be a shootout and a FUN game.

one of those 45-40, 55-48 type of games.
If it’s low scoring I’m favoring Miami by a large margin.

I’m on the Miami 11-1, 12-0 train. This probably a tougher game than FSU.
