Acc Network Confirmed and Acc Digital Only Launch

I've heard the football team may be getting their own show on ESPNU starting in the Fall.

Similar to what "ESPN The Season" was a while back.
 
So does ESPN learn to love us and the ACC will join the ESPN hype train now that they have a financial stake in the conference?
 
Hoops will carry this network if it launches. ESPN is losing subscribers hand over fist. I wouldn't be shocked if it was exclusively OTT programming.

I'm all for this network as it is a good thing for us and seems to be in our best interest. ESPN however, can eat a bag of diques. The fact that they are hemoraging money makes me smile. Couldn't be happening to a bigger bunch of douchebags.

HAHAHA...I'm so glad Coach K stuck it to those pha99ots (ESPN). I know Coach K is unpopular on this blog, but he has punked the SEC (Kentucky and John Calipari) and he has forced ESPiN to play ball with the ACC. Coach K is the driving force behind this one. BELIEVE IT.

When I say Coach K is the driving force behind the ACC Network, I mean that he is not laying down for this SEC/ESPiN takeover of college sports. Kentucky with their 1 and done culture...the university turning a blind eye to it, in fact they have embraced it. Let the record show that it IS coach K who is kicking Caliparis a$$ all across the recruiting landscape. Let the record also show that when Bama hired coach Avery Johnson, he proclaimed his aim was to be better than Duke. SEC/ESPiN vs ACC. UNC dropped the ball with this academic scandal and the NCAA hasn't even thought about stopping with the investigation. But, you have Ole Miss and others in the SEC doing the same mess and it's a wait and see attitude. At the end of the day, I cannot wait until Miami returns in football, I want the SEC to fade back to the nothing happening son of a plumber conference I know that it is.
 
Don't have cable anymore. Use OTA for local and stream games when not on local. I might give the streaming option a chance if it has good football coverage for the Canes and it's not too pricey.
 
Bout time, and per my local paper (in NC). you will have digital access to ALL ACC sports through your internet/cable provider and ESPN. Get your user name and password set up now, lf you don't already have them.
