ACC fines Jimbo 20k

I don't like Jimbo but he's right. The ACC officiating has been single handedly and by a long margin, the worst officiating crew in all the nation. We know it well first hand. It goes all the way. Ack to the Duke game where somehow we benefited from it, but it's been real bad against us.

I've also never understood fines against coaches for criticizing officials. They aren't some volunteers who don't get paid. They make good money to work part of the year in some great games and environments. It's their job, and like anyone who has a job, if you do it poorly, consistently, you welcome all criticism.

Jimbo's were basically the same as most of ours week in and week out for years. Just cost him $20k. He's not wrong on their ineptness or in turn the lack of accountability.

Exactly. We've been on the bad end of officiating for too many weeks now consistently and the only thing common in all of that is ACC officials.

FSU: The holding on the Walton run.

The targeting that was the farthest thing from it. If that was targeting I don't know how that call can ever be overturned upon review.

UNC: How in any world do they not see the bobble on the TD. HOW IS THAT ALLOWED TO OCCUR? How are there no repercussions? Don't tell me about angles. Still images could show you he caught the ball in his stomach and it ended on his shoulder as he went out.

ND: How was Yearby short on that 4th and 1? How do they not spot where his forward momentum was stopped.

It's disgusting already. I'm over it. Like Ed Reed once said "who polices the police?". NO ONE! And then coaches can't even say anything.

ACC and competent officiating doesn't go together.

I remember once when Duke Johnson had to score like five times against Wake Forest before they called it a TD.

We've been paying **** all season for The Return last year.

Welcome to the club, Jumbo.
