ACC doing ACC Things.....

Well, it's impossible for 17 teams to play 9 games each, so they have to figure out some kind of weird schedule.

So counting the Notre Dame game based on the ACC scheduling agreement we have to essentially play 10 conference games?

Well the ND game doesn't count as an ACC game, so if you want to make it an ACC game in your head, then yeah you can say we're playing 10 "ACC" games. The other 9 are what count in the standings, however.

They shouodve counted the ND game has an ACC affiliate game and gave us a 1/2 game win in conference record

I still believe we should drop ND and replace them with a JMU or Tulane home game (if possible). Then play someone like FAU to make up for the SC game. We drop a rogue program and replace them with a conference championship-NCAA playoff team. That makes 12-0/11-1 very possible............. This is how the SEC thinks.............

Can’t we get out of this crappy conference on the argument that they gave Duke the tie breaker over us and almost cost us a shot at the CFP by virtue of a tiebreaker that came down to BC winning and FSU losing at the end of the season? Can’t imagine who will be left after the grant of rights expires at the end of the 2035 season. Can’t come soon enough and I imagine that we will walk when the buyout penalty reduces to something reasonable as we get closer to that date.

My understanding is we are contracted by the ACC to play ND.
