Wong during yesterday's presser made it very known his appreciation for the ACC schedule preparing them for these types of games. Top to bottom the ACC is still a tough league with traditional basketball power houses with rabid fan bases that makes road games very tough. This team is very seasoned due to that experience.

The conference argument is and always will be ridiculous when it goes past anything other than the total number of teams you get into the tournament. Too many factors out of each teams control to make any argument except for that team and who they beat or lost to.

Realistically 10-15ish teams, at most, have what it takes to make it to the Final Four every year. So to say the conference is garbage bc it’s dominated by 1 or 2 teams is dumb. Last year Duke was the best and they made it. UNC just got hot which happens. This year we were the best all year, we made it.

Are some conferences more likely to choke? Yes. The Big 10 bc they are always overrated. And the SEC bc if they can’t out athlete you or aren’t making threes, they lose. But in reality the conference doesn’t have much to do with anything. You can’t say the B12 was down bc Texas lost. Or that Houston was a fraud, bc they lost. Those were Final Four caliber teams, they just drew Miami. That’s just tough luck. If FAU or SDSU would’ve had our side of the bracket, they would be at home watching.
