Let’s stop with pats on the backs. The runningbacks had 3 fumbles yesterday. It’s been a recurring theme all year. It’s simply unacceptable. The WRs can’t handle contact and are dropping too many balls. Perry was off yesterday as well (but no turnovers). The OL is a complete dumpster fire on passing plays. Are they even being taught technique?
I know it’s been covered but the offense is so archaic I don’t understand how anyone can look at it and think we can be competitive in Top 25 football. We can’t even be competitive in the ACC Coastal. I feel like I’m watching a bad Pop Warner team where the coach is just trying to get the kids to run the right direction.
Reality is we are a bottom dweller in the worst division in P5. And let’s not act like yesterday was some kind of accomplishment. We were playing a team that had absolutely nothing to play for and was obviously looking forward to Clemson, giving plenty of rest to their starters.
And to anyone saying “if Perry was the quarterback all year we win the Coastal” I say so f*ckng what. We still lose to any Top 25 team outside of the Coastal. Perry instead of Rosier isn’t going to fix this problem.
I didn’t even get into special teams but even if we had a top offense, our special teams would hold us back from being a playoff contender. Yeah, I get it, occasionally our 4* and 5* athletes can outplay a ACC Coastal special teams full of Walk-ons and 2* Freshmen. BRAVO!
Offensive and Special Teams coaching is an absolute joke. CIS posters could do a better job of developing and preparing these players because we are playing at rock-f*cking bottom.
So to the AD and to the coaches attacking fans on Twitter, calling us “boobirds”, and saying no fans understands football - there is absolutely no way you could do any worse at your job. You are coaching at the wrong level. And if you do not realize that, you are lying to yourself.
