Did Golden tell Coley he wanted a very vanilla offense and to not open up and throw down field or is this Coleys call or was it a joint decision? It boggles my mind that after the first qtr they couldn't see what Louisville was gonna do. **** after the first series we should have said **** this, they want to load the box, let's show em our elite level WR's.

From what I have seen so far from Coley is that he is an absolutely terrible play caller. I can't remember a time we were ever in rhythm for more then 1 series. Not real sure if he is smart enough to adjust either.

Golden is the head coach... to think that Coley went off the reservation with that game plan is just wrong - unless Golden is completely asleep at the wheel. At the very least, Golden had to have signed off on the game plan.

I got the transcript of this sit down via telegraph, the word stop was prevalent but I am not sure if that was in reference to opening up the playbook or just part of the telegraph.

Has to be Coley. Fisch was brilliant with less talent here.

I tend to think its closer to this. I think Golden has given his OCs a lot of freedom to do their thing. Fisch obviously had free reign of the offense. The problem is, Coley is no where near the same league as Fisch as far as experience or ability.

I could easily see Golden approving a gameplan that was "run heavy" to protect Kaaya as much as possible, but I highly doubt Golden sat there and went over every play Coley had drawn up for the game, nor was Golden giving green lights to whatever Coley was calling during the game.

On offense, I think at most Golden may set the overall tone ("hey lets avoid mistakes") but the playcalling was on Coley.

The fact that we have seen such a stark drop off in the offense since Fisch left I think speaks volumes.

The PROBLEM though, was that Fisch wasn't a very good recruiter. Coley is a much better recruiter than Fisch was.

So what do you do? Do we have the good recruiter improves at his X and Os, or do we get rid of him for an X and O's guy, who might not be able to recruit for ****?

If Folden didn't ratify that game plan, then why did we stick with it the whole game? Was Folden headset busted? He couldn't tell Coley, "hey, open this **** up a little" at SOME point during the 3.5 hour abortion?

Did you see Saban standing next to *****in the entire game against wvu coaching him up? *****in was tethered to Saban.

It was pretty evident during the first drive that BK was crapping his pants. While he certainly seemed to recover, I don't think AG and Coley trusted him after that point. At least I want to hope this was the case and we didn't purposeful game plan to play O like pussies.
