When he was at Missouri did he produce top d lines year in and year out or was he producing then every couple of years when all his project guys were 4th and 5th year seniors.

I don't know specific numbers about his former players at Missouri but many would argue that he is one of the best Dline coaches in the country.

I dont know too much but he wasnt the one to close the deal on those defensive lineman. He was part of developing them...he has to recruit better

That's my concern because there is no doubt he can develop talent but if he doesn't get the top material year in and year out well just have good d lines every couple of years

Honestly, that was a great question. I hadn't thought about that.

As of right now I think it not recruiting I think he is being to picky. He should of just stayed on Briggs or whoever. He keeps flip flopping maybe because he is failing or maybe it is because he to picky. We should of locked up Briggs long time ago IMO.

Now that I think about it. Kul did say Norton and RJ were the best DT duo he ever had and they got their teeth kicked in by Wisconsin.

With the exception of Sheldon Richardson, his standouts seem to be DE's. Interested to know about the DT's he developed.

Sheldon Richardson
Ziggy Hood
Ricky Hatley

3 DTs in the NFL he coached.

Markus Golden
Shane Ray
Alton Smith
Kony Ealy
Michael Sam
Charles Harris

Kul is ithe last coach we need to worry about; can he improve in his job? Sure...Just like you and I can.

He's a great coach... probably the best defensive line coach in America. Which is why it blows my ******* mind that we don't have 5-star DT's from all over America lining up to come play for him.

I don't get it at all. We have a top 10 recruiting class, but we can't get any traction with DT's for two cycles in a row.... it's just weird.

On field he’s fine but he’s gotta have someone to coach. We’ve never been this bad recruiting DL even under Jethro

Heard numerous DTs (Briggs most recently) say we cut contact or they haven’t heard from us lately. That’s the problem is there’s not enough communication. You can’t rely on a 17 year old to care about a resume of a coach. He’s gonna play for the guy that talks to him every day, “shows love”, and promises him PT whether you’re actually going to get it or not.

What game were you watching? Or are you just assuming because we lost they got beaten up? RJ and Norton weren't the problem against Wisconsin. It's not like they ran right over us. They beat us passing on 3rd down and moving the pocket away from those guys.

I keep telling you guys, recruits know the fix is in when it comes to miami

they know if they come here they're gonna get held all day every day and the officials aren't even gonna blink an eye

I never ever thought miami would never be able to come back because of a changing landscape whatsoever

however, beating the zebras on EVERY single play might be too much.

don't forget how every single time we seemed to produce any kind of momentum this season the zebras would review a play or have "a problem" with chain gang or some **** ****

the only game all season we saw fair decent officiating was the duke game, those guys were great whomever they were in that game.

actually real competitive kids are MOTIVATED when they see the fix is in, not turned off from it. thats what made miami great in past. the u against the world.

they don't give a **** about getting tackled from behind on their way to the quarterback?

you realize what that does to their stats?

explain why we have the top d line coach in the country with a d coordinator who specializes in getting sacks.. and we're seeing depth issues develop in year 2
