Malachi Toney might have dropped a small hint about his future at Miami on Sunday night.

The Hurricanes wide receiver was sitting courtside at the Heat game when he was recognized during a break. The broadcast caught Toney on the big screen, and moments later he was gifted with a Miami Heat jersey. The number on it was No. 1 with his last name on it.



There’s been no word from Toney or the program about a jersey change heading into next season, but No. 1 isn’t...

My question will be how much does Mensah have to pay Toney for the number? Nothing comes for free and its common in the NFL and NBA to pay for numbers.

What if he wanted #1 last year but Trader had it? Smooth transition if he really wants that number

Pay for a number that was vacated? Toney was goin to #1 unless his team told him to stay at 10.. charging for a number u were gonna abandon anyways lol
 
I just got the Toney #10 for my son for Christmas. I'm trying to see if Brett can remove the "0" and center the "1."

That’s how I would play it if I was Toney and the guy who wanted my number just bought his way out of a 4 million NIL deal, and still came to Miami.

Me (as Toney) “I love #10. My 2 favorite numbers are 1 and 0 and now I finally get to have them on the same jersey. Also, did you know Darian that binary, the original computer language, was comprised of nothing but 1’s and 0’s. I just can’t give up the number 10 ….. Unless you can start with a 1, and then put (4) 0’s behind it”
