My biggest takeaway is it looks like we came out of the game relatively unscathed. Colbie looked like he got his bell rung on that swing pass where he broke 3-4 tackles but returned in the 2nd half and made a catch.
The difference in the OL is massive - literally.
Lee out in front of Fletcher. When was the last time we saw our center pull on an off tackle play?
RB by committee. All 4 looked really good and were fresh at the end of the game.
Great to see Chaney score with a nice run for a TD.
George was the leading receiver with 6 catches. Colbie should have a great year and X was being X.
Couple of presnap penalties on Cooper and a hold on Cici but for game 1, not too bad.
LB’s are noticeably different. Haven’t seen a group like this since the Shaq-Pink days.
DL rotation was crazy. Couldn’t keep up with all the subs. Saw all kinds of twists and games. Stuffed the run. Kelly dropping into coverage. Moten gotta a lot of burn. Deen is the real deal. Mesidor made his presence known. Harvey had a really good game.
DB’s didn’t seem lost. Couple of breakdowns in coverage but for the most part, they were solid. Kam was laying some wood (pause). Couple of times I saw Kam in the box and JW as the deep S. Tackling was very solid for game 1.
FR punter looked really good and Andy’s leg looks stronger than last year.
